Lets face it, getting your kids to eat their greens and tear their eyes away from the PlayStation can be a challenge. Kids today are getting fatter and lazier than ever and many are brought up on a diet of junk food and little or no exercise. As a result, the rates of juvenile diabetes, obesity and even heart problems are rising dramatically.
And this is a great tragedy because fat, sedentary kids become fat, sedentary adults. The longer these habits are allowed to continue, the harder it becomes to break them
But now there is an alternative…
Fit 4 Kids comes out of over a decade experience working with kids from a wide range of backgrounds to show them how exercise can be fun and cool. We have also developed kids cooking classes that involve kids in planning and managing their own nutrition, preparing foods that they love and understanding what it takes to eat well and enjoy their food while still making good choices. And they have a ball doing it!
